Independent Evaluations
We provide monitoring and evaluation services in politically sensitive, fragile and conflict-affected environments. We are able to provide innovative methods of monitoring and evaluation in rapidly-changing and insecure contexts. We also provide monitoring and evaluation services in more stable environments and do so during any of the phases of the project cycle.
While we provide independent evaluation services across the Governance and Rule of Law Sectors, we have super-specialist knowledge and experience in the Access to Justice Sector (both Supply and Demand sides).
We subscribe to the OECD-DAC Criteria for evaluations and integrate this with a Human Rights Based Approach. This involves meaningful and inclusive participation and access to decision-making; non-discrimination and equality; accountability and rule of law for all; and transparency and access to information supported by disaggregated data.
Our monitoring and evaluation services:
- are people centred
- ensure local ownership and participation
- are impartial, independent, credible and transparent
- strengthen existing national and international monitoring and evaluations mechanisms as far as possible
- are sustainable
-
are based on Gender Equaliti and Social Inclusion (GESI)
